The Ottawa Jollof Festival returns for its second annual edition — moving to Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau for two days of flavour, rhythm, and community.
About the Festival
The Ottawa Jollof Festival is a celebration of African food and culture designed for families and the wider community of the National Capital Region. Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 event held at Andrew Haydon Park, the 2026 festival moves across the river to Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau.
For two days, the park becomes a village of experiences — from live cooking demonstrations and jollof rice competitions to dance workshops, marketplace stalls, and interactive cultural pavilions representing communities from West, East, Central, and North Africa.
